Families, friends, walkers, strollers, wagons, wheelchairs and leashed pets are invited to take part in the We Grow Dreams Fall Festival and 4K Walk for Dreams at Freedom Commons in Naperville, Saturday, October 9. The walk will cover an easy 2.5 miles along Diehl Road adjoining the Naperville lifestyle center that has been home to the We Grow Dreams Garden Market since May. The walk steps off at 8:30 am rain or shine to raise funds for job training and employment for young adults with disabilities.

July 21, 2009Car enthusiasts and spectators alike will get their kicks along Route 66 on Saturday, August 1 when Double K Productions presents a classic car cruise from Naperville, through Joliet to the Route 66 Museum in Pontiac and then back to Naperville’s Freedom Cruise Night at Freedom Commons, the north Naperville retail and restaurant center at the I-88 Naperville exit. The cruise is free of charge and self-paced, allowing drivers to enjoy several historic sites along the way. Spectators along the route will enjoy the daylong passage of classic automobiles of all vintages.
